£22k – £24k depending on experience
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef to join the team at a gorgeous, reputable hotel with stunning views across countryside.
The ideal candidate will be certified in basic food hygiene and have a minimum of 3 years’ kitchen experience.
The Sous Chef will support the kitchen team in all matters relating to food preparation, taking an active role in promoting new ideas and improving department standards as well as taking full responsibility for the Kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence, including stock control, ordering, waste control and cleaning.
You will be responsible for ensuring all items are cooked to the highest standard, ensure consistency of product and provided to our customers on a daily basis and working in conjunction with the front of house team to ensure all food services are conducted in a timely manner.
