Sous Chef – Rutland
We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join the team at a gorgeous, reputable hotel with stunning views of the countryside.
This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door with a breath-taking property and truly grow as a chef.
The ideal candidate will be certified in basic food hygiene, and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
The Sous Chef will give support to the Head Chef in all matters relating to food preparation and take an active role in promoting new ideas and improving department standards.
You will ensure food product standard and consistency is constantly of the agreed level and take full responsibility for the Kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence.
The sous chef will ideally work a minimum of 40 hours, working 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis.
