Contracts Manager
As a contracts manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing important legal documents relating to construction projects and ensuring that any issues which arise are resolved as quickly and effectively as possible.
The duties of a contracts manager may include:
Preparing tenders for clients and commercial bids to help bring in new business
Developing and presenting project proposals
Meeting with clients to find out their requirements
Producing plans and estimating budgets and timescales
Discussing, drafting, reviewing and negotiating the terms of business contracts
Agreeing budgets and timescales with the clients
Managing construction schedules and budgets
Dealing with any unexpected costs
Attending site meetings to monitor progress
Acting as the main point of contact for clients, site and project managers
Working with third parties to ensure that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities
Making sure construction projects meet agreed technical standards
Liaising with technical and financial staff, sub-contractors, legal teams and the client’s own representatives
Overseeing invoicing at the end of a project
Working on-site and in an office.
London Colney (/ˈkoʊni/) is a village and civil parish in Hertfordshire, England. It is located to the north of London, close to Junction 22 of the M25 motorway.
It is around 2.5 miles (4.0 km) south-east of St Albans city centre (and within said city's contiguous built-up area) and part of the City and District of St Albans. At the time of the 2001 census the population of London Colney ward was 7,742, increasing to 9,507 at the 2011 Census.[1] It is considered a satellite or dormitory village of St Albans, where some villagers travel to work and shop.
