Facilities Management

​Facility management,[1] or facilities management, (FM) is a professional management discipline focused on the efficient and effective delivery of logistics and other support services related to real property, it encompasses multiple disciplines to ensure functionality, comfort, safety and efficiency of the built environment by integrating people, place, process and technology, as defined by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The profession is certified through Global Facility Management Association (Global FM) member organizations.

Since 2009, Global FM has sponsored an annual World Facilities Management Day, "World FM Day".[2]

​Lutterworth is a market town and civil parish in the Harborough district of Leicestershire, England. The town is located in southern Leicestershire, close to the borders with Warwickshire and Northamptonshire. It is located 6.4 miles (10.3 kilometres) north of Rugby, Warwickshire and 12 miles (19 kilometres) south of Leicester.

At the 2011 UK census, the civil parish of Lutterworth had a population of 9,353.[2] The built up area of Lutterworth, which also includes the adjacent village of Bitteswell had a population of 9,907.[3]
