Facilities Management

​Facility management,[1] or facilities management, (FM) is a professional management discipline focused on the efficient and effective delivery of logistics and other support services related to real property, it encompasses multiple disciplines to ensure functionality, comfort, safety and efficiency of the built environment by integrating people, place, process and technology, as defined by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The profession is certified through Global Facility Management Association (Global FM) member organizations.

Since 2009, Global FM has sponsored an annual World Facilities Management Day, "World FM Day".[2]

​Rushden is a market town and civil parish in the East Northamptonshire district in Northamptonshire, England.

The parish of Rushden covers an area of some 9,000 acres (36.42 km2), and is part of the district of East Northamptonshire. The population of Rushden is 29,272 (Census 2011),[1] making it the fifth largest town in the county. The Rushden-Higham urban area, which includes the adjoining town of Higham Ferrers, has an estimated population of 36,410. The estimated population of Rushden in 2015 was 30,282.[2]
