You will assume responsibility for a large portfolio of important clients – planning and scheduling all assignments to ensure efficient and effective delivery.

This Audit and it and Accounts Manager need has come about due to the phenomenal growth of the business over the past 12 months.

Key aspects of the role:

  • Strong salary range, potentially up to around £45K
  • Great team to grow and manage
  • Medium to long term opportunity for a leadership role in the firm
  • Fast growing employer who has invested into their team, offices and facilities
  • Interesting and diverse clients – growing at a phenomenal rate
  • Great work life balance (flexible working on offer)

ACA or ACCA qualified with experience of working in an accountancy practice. Part qualified candidate may be considered who demonstrate a clear plan to complete their qualification.

The Audit and Accounts Manager will work in a department where you will assist on audits, all of which are office based so travel is limited, be involved in associated accountancy work and you will get the chance to assist the specialist tax team from time to time on sophisticated VAT, personal and corporate matters.

This role could be taken up by anyone between Semi Senior and Manager level.

The firm is relatively open on the level of experience and they can offer full study support. If you have audit experience, that would be helpful, but people with solid accountancy practice knowledge which is accounts based can be taught the audit work and given a great opportunity to increase their skills profile, including exposure to taxation work.

My client offers a fantastic benefits package of great training and development as well as a competitive salary, flexible working, life and private health insurance.
