Energy Retrofit Manager
An Energy Retrofit Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and delivering projects that improve the energy efficiency of existing buildings or systems. These retrofits can include upgrades to insulation, lighting, HVAC systems, windows, renewable energy integration, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution
Identify energy-saving opportunities through audits and assessments.
Develop and manage retrofit project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and suppliers.
Technical Oversight
Specify and evaluate energy-efficient technologies and materials.
Ensure compliance with energy codes, sustainability standards, and building regulations.
Monitor installation and commissioning of systems.
Performance Monitoring
Track energy savings and verify performance post-installation.
Use tools like energy modeling software and building management systems (BMS).
Stakeholder Engagement
Communicate with building owners, tenants, and regulatory bodies.
Prepare reports and presentations on project outcomes and ROI.
Funding and Incentives
Identify and apply for grants, rebates, or financing options for energy retrofits.
