3D Modelling Engineer
Leicester – Salary up to 40k DOE
Due to continued growth, my client is looking to expand their Engineering Team and are looking for a 3D Modelling Engineer
My clients are well established in the earthworks and construction industry and hold themselves to a high standard of workmanship.
The ideal candidate will need experience and knowledge in creating 3D models and to produce and collate engineering and technical data to provide accurate product data to customers.
Keep up to date with the latest methodology for CAD systems and engineering processes, to ensure the software is used to its fullest extent effectively, and to be responsible for own health and safety and personal development.
You will be based in their office in Leicester for the first 6 months, after this time there is a possibility of working from home for at least 2 days a week.
The 3D Modelling Engineer, tasks include:
Creation of accurate 3d earthwork volume drawings to a presentable standard
Terrain models for GPS operated plant
Review drawings to determine construction depths
Process survey data and generate as-built drawings in accordance with adoption standards
Consolidate and improve technical relationships with clients
Earthworks and Trimble Business Centre experience would be preferred but not essential.
Formal software engineering experience commercial or otherwise is desired but not essential, knowledge of mapping, 3D modelling, CAD applications are all welcome skillsets.
