My client supports UK military air capability by playing a key part in the seamless progression of pilots through flying training.

They now have an opportunity for an Aircrew Equipment Assemblies (AEA) Supervisor to join them in a role that offers great professional development and a rewarding career.

As AEA supervisor, you will ensure the delivery of the contracted service to the customer and ensure that stocks of serviceable AEA and Survival Equipment are made available to the aircrew based at RAF Cranwell, RAF Barkston Heath.

My client has ambitious plans and are therefore looking to recruit great talent to join their growing business that operates across the UK. ​

What we’re looking for:

  • ​Appropriate recent practical experience within and expertise within a survival equipment technician (SE tech) role

  • Previous experience as an SE tech within an Aircrew Equipment Assembly (AEA)/Survival Equipment maintenance bay

  • Knowledge and experience of the ModNet IT system

  • Ability to complete sizing for AEA including above and below neck and familiar with instructing aircrew in functional fit exercises ​


  • Recognised RAF Survival Equipment Course (or civilian equivalent)

  • Recognised Q-SE-AC or AvMedSE qualification

  • Recognised Human Factors training
