We’re recruiting for a B1.1 Licensed Engineer (ANY TYPE RATING CONSIDERED) to join a rapidly growing aviation and special operations business with a strong international footprint and ambitious plans for continued expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Certification of B1 maintenance activities during shift operations

  • Supporting the Shift Supervisor in delivering safe, compliant Part-145 maintenance

  • Carrying out maintenance on aircraft and associated equipment

  • Providing technical guidance and support to the engineering team

  • Ensuring compliance with MOE and maintenance manuals

  • Supporting planning, resource coordination, and task prioritisation

  • Completing mechanical handovers and aircraft ground movements

  • Maintaining accurate and timely technical documentation

  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives

  • Providing AOG technical support across the UK and overseas

  • Acting as Deputy Shift Supervisor where required

Skills & Experience

  • CAA Part-66 B1 Licence (essential)

  • Strong experience within a Part-145 maintenance environment

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities

  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills

  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work

  • Willingness to travel for AOG support (UK & overseas)

  • Eligible for UK security clearance

Desirable

  • EASA Part-66 B1 Licence

  • Multi-type approvals across aircraft platforms

  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers
