We are recruiting for a Build Assurance Manager to operate within our clients’ Norfolk Network Delivery Team.

You’ll sit amongst experienced Fibre and Civil Engineering Specialists and work alongside the Project Manager to deal with all safety, quality and build related issues throughout the project lifecycle.

The Build Manager will be managing a build in Norfolk and are therefore they are ideally looking for someone who based within a commutable distance to the King’s Lynn, Hunstanton or Cromer area.

You’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks to support the delivery of a quality FTTH network across these regions.

The Build Manager will be the point of contact for ensuring appropriate actions are taken with and by contractors whilst carrying out field-based activities.

What you’ll be doing

You will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support the delivery of a quality FTTH network – and you will be the point of contact for ensuring appropriate actions are taken with and by contractors whilst carrying out field-based activities.

Supporting the Project Manager with the delivery of the build programme whilst working alongside stakeholders to deliver the build on-time, safely and to standard.

What we’re looking for

•Good understanding of telecommunications and network builds

•Experience of delivery management and delivering to pre-defined project schedules

•The ability to challenge and ensure the best possible build quality, through 3rd-party contractors

•Subcontractor management/auditing in the field (both Civils and Fibre)

•Understanding and interpretation of risk assessments & method statements

•Have an awareness of Construction Design Management Regulations Qualifications

•NRSWA accreditation

You will ideally have knowledge of the following qualifications, though full training will be given

PIA SA002Safety Underground, PIA SA001 Safety Overhead, S6 Duct Survey, S5 Pole Survey, Health & Safety Accreditation, Asbestos awareness, NRSWA, CMSTS, Cable avoidance.
