Navenby, Lincolnshire - £35,548 (Single Skilled) 5 days per week DAYS ONLY

We are recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to join the engineering team at a key feed mill site in Navenby, Lincolnshire. This is one of only two feed milling facilities within the wider group – a critical part of a 24/7 operation supplying feed to a major UK food production network.

The site plays a vital role in supporting large-scale production, with a modern, well-equipped plant and a collaborative management structure. As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in keeping the site running efficiently, reducing downtime, and ensuring systems operate safely and to the highest standards.

The Role

As an Electrical Engineer, you will:

  • Deliver the site maintenance plan to keep production downtime to a minimum.

  • Support the breakdown call-out rota to maintain smooth operations in this high-output environment.

  • Maintain all pressure systems to meet legal and insurance standards.

  • Assist with purchasing and stock control of all maintenance requirements within budget.

  • Work within the site’s permit-to-work system, upholding the highest health and safety standards.

  • Operate and support the automated process control system as needed.

  • Monitor and minimise environmental impact within your area of responsibility.

Key Skills & Experience

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer who has:

  • Electrical qualification to 18th Edition (essential).

  • Mechanical experience (desirable).

  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.

  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.

  • Experience with industrial boilers and IOSH qualification (desirable).

  • A team-focused, adaptable, and solutions-driven approach.

Why Apply?

This is a rare opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join a strategically important site within the UK’s feed production sector. You’ll work with a skilled, supportive team in a modern facility where your expertise will directly impact performance and efficiency.

If you’re an Electrical Engineer looking for a role where you can make a tangible difference in a fast-paced and essential production environment, we’d love to hear from you.
