Electrical Project Manager – West Midlands – Salary £40k to £50k plus van, overtime, travel time and employee benefits
A great opportunity for an Electrical Project Manager to join a growing and reputable turnkey construction business trusted by major food retailers to manage construction and refurbishment projects from beginning to end.
They have years of experience providing specialist design, M&E and refrigeration services and as a qualified electrician, you’ll have the opportunity with their customers such as Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Marks & Spencer’s.
As the Electrical Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all electrical compliance and EICR's Services are provided and be accountable for small works to undertaking some electrical testing and certification.
You’ll need your ECS Gold Card, AM2 and have done the 18th edition and 2391 Inspection and Testing – Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection qualifications and have experience within the sector to call upon whilst out in the field.
Other responsibilities as an Electrical Project Manager will include but are not limited to carrying out organisation of your team for day to day planned and reactive electrical works. Responsible for the efficient completion of projects within time and budget.

Electrical Project Manager requirements:
18th Edition
ECS Gold Card/AM2 Qualification
Must hold valid 2382 and 2391 inspection and test certificates or equivalent
Knowledge and experience of EICRs and NICEIC accredited certification
IPAF and PASMA advantageous (IPAF the preference if they only have one of them)
SSSTS or SMSTS advantageous
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Full UK Driving Licence
Happy to travel Nationwide for works during the working week with limited overnight stays
Electrical Project Manager duties:
Attend design meetings with the consultants and clients to review and plan works
Survey and report back on material, labour, hire equipment and programme duration for new projects
Plan and schedule work from project conception right through to completion
Co-ordinate and manage the Electrical aspects of multiple projects
Work with the other departments and sub-contractors to ensure projects are delivered to programme and cost
