Are you a Network Planner looking to step up to an exciting new role with a fast moving business? 

We are looking for candidates to join our fast growing client’s business and as Fibre Planners for Full Fibre, playing a key role in the future growth and decisions around how and where they deploy their future network.  

Responsible for Fibre Network Planning and GIS activities, you will be instrumental in the future success and performance of the business and the geographies they serve.  

Reporting to the Head of Planning, you'll be joining at the start of a very fast paced and exciting growth phase of the business with lots to get stuck into.

What we’re looking for 

·         Experience in telecom fibre and copper networks

·         Working experience of all MS Office applications

·         Experience or working knowledge of GIS/PNI platforms

·         High personal drive to deliver  

What you’ll be doing 

·         Acting as the ‘Design Authority’ for external network orientated solutions

·         Developing optimal civil/cabling engineering solutions (challenging established principles and taking a flexible approach)

·         Undertaking feasibility studies and calculating budget and/or detailed estimates to assess the financial and engineering viability of planned solutions

·         Gathering necessary information, including by physical survey in order to create a quality work package

·         Provision of relevant budgetary information to internal and external customers

·         Negotiation and settling of wayleaves, easements and irrevocable consents

·         Dealing with external bodies to ensure construction work is carried out in a cost effective
