Lincolnshire - Salary £60k to £65k dependant on experience
RecruitME are partnering a well-established market leader to recruit a Financial Controller into their finance team through a period of restructure and growth.
This is a hands-on Financial Controller position, responsible for the management of the day-to-day activities of the Head Office Finance Department including responsibility for the management of the Finance Team.
As Financial Controller you will work closely with the Finance Director and Managing Director to provide financial guidance and support to Senior Management Team in order to enable sound business decisions to be made on a timely basis.
Our client is a prominent player in the food manufacturing sector and an independent home grown Lincolnshire success story.
You'll be responsible for the running of the company’s financial accounting function including statutory reporting, tax, and treasury (including corporation tax, VAT and cash reporting and forecasting) whilst leading a team of 5.
It presents an outstanding opportunity for a qualified accountant to become an integral part of a market leader, forging and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization.
The ideal candidate:
•Qualified Accountant ACCA /CIMA / ACA
•Food manufacturing / FMCG experience is desired
•Attention to detail, and ability to maintain best practice across the finance team
•Leadership skills to manage a finance team
•Ability to work closely and develop relationships with non-financial managers
•Inquisitive mind
•Able to get up to speed quickly in a new role
•Excellent Excel skills
