I am working with a fast-growing Security and Communications Company who are recruiting for Fire Alarm Engineers responsible for the commissioning, service and maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems.

Following significant investment into the Company, they are seeing significant year-on-year growth enabling them to invest in their engineering teams and people across the UK.

Nationally renowned and NSI Gold and BAFE accredited, they specialise in the design, installation, service and maintenance of integrated security systems and manufacture specialist equipment. They operate in the in the Retirement Living, Construction, Defence and Education sectors.

Due to the company’s continued success and growth, they are recruiting for additional Fire Alarm Engineers to join them.

The working hours of their engineers are Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm.

What you’ll be doing

  • The commissioning, service and maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems

  • Carrying out site surveys

  • Ensure that the client is satisfied with the servicing of the system prior to leaving site

  • Accurate completion of documentation, timesheets, and submission of job reports through the Company’s service system

What we’re looking for

  • Be able to prove competence of working on networked fire alarm systems

  • Experience with Gent, Advanced and Morley systems

  • Experience of Aspirating Systems

  • Experience on addressable and non-addressable systems

  • Working knowledge of BS5839 and BAFE

  • FIA qualifications (FIA Units or Foundation route)

  • 5 years’ experience in maintaining and repairing the above systems
