I am recruiting for a Fire Detection Estimating Engineer to provide comprehensive support to my client’s Design and Estimates team.
The role is office based in the centre of Nottingham. Free car parking.
You’ll be working in smart modern offices with the largest independent fire and security company in the UK, recognised in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 as an influential company. They are growing rapidly.
The purpose of the role is to have design responsibility for the production of fire alarm design proposals.
As the Fire Detection Estimating Engineer, you’ll manage a number of designs / proposals at any one time, ensuring that designs and proposals are accurately costed and priced.
You will be working in a tight knit team with clients and engineers to provide compliant proposals in line with current British Standards.
Successful Fire Detection Estimating Engineer candidates will also provide technical assistance, support and guidance to team members and coordinate the administration of all current enquiries, including job won handover files and estimating system updating.
What we’re looking for
•Ability to produce and read technical drawings and specifications
•An excellent eye for detail
•Ability to work with a variety of contractors, architects and other personnel
•Technical knowledge of different manufacturers fire systems
•Hold a full driving licence
