Grantham – £28k - £42k (plus overtime opportunities)
Keeping a large HVG fleet running to support their clients from across the UK, no two days will be the same.
As an HGV Mechanic you will be required to:
Maintain their fleet HGV's and trailers
Repair emergency breakdowns so vehicles can return to the road
MOT checks prior to testing
Upto date inspections to DVSA standards
Routine inspections and general maintenance tasks
Our clients offer further training and development and a structured and supported work environment to progress your career and skillset. Couple with an investment programme to improve their workshop and equipment over the coming months.
Ideally, as an HGV Mechanic, you will have had experience working within a similar HGV (Scania, DAF and Mercedes) or been in a Heavy Plant role. Ideally, you will hold a Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification or be a time served Mechanic and hold a C+E driving licence.
