A leading organisation in the Rutland area have a rare opportunity for a Junior Database and Web Developer role.

The right candidate for the Junior Database and Web Developer role, will join a team of eight where their daily duties will be to provide a 3rd line of support for databases, applications, websites, the team itself and the wider organisation.

Daily tasks as a Junior Database and Web Developer may look like:

  • Database administration, design, monitoring and management

  • Software Development

  • 3rd Line Support across the organisation

As the Junior Database and Web Developer you’ll be an integral part of the IT Team, liaise and train the 1st / 2nd line teams in monitoring, troubleshooting, administrating and support of all developed applications and databases in use across the organisation.

What our clients are looking for is an individual with experience of:

  • VB.Net, C#

  • MS SQL

  • ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, IIS

  • Blazor, HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery

  • Web Forms, Windows Forms

  • PowerShell

  • Microsoft reporting services/PowerBI/Data Warehousing

  • TFS/Azure DeVos Server/GIT

  • Microsoft cloud services – Azure/SharePoint/Teams

  • A “can do” attitude

The ideal candidate will love coding, have a wide range of technical abilities, and doesn’t mind being forward facing, constantly wanting to learn and improving their technical skills. With the IT team being integral to the organisations future, be open to working collaboratively on projects as well as taking ownership for your own tasks, whilst sharing your skills, successes and techniques with your team.
