We are currently working with a modern hotel set in stunning grounds with an ambitious, innovative supportive management team.
With a busy calendar ahead of them well into 2024, they are now looking to grow their team with a Junior Sous Chef
This is a great opportunity for an experienced sous chef to join the team at a hotel situated in the heart of the rolling English countryside, the hotel is a tranquil rural haven, far away from the hustle-bustle of everyday life but close enough to charming market towns of Oakham and Stamford
This is a permanent full-time opportunity with looking towards a good work-life balance working.
We are looking for an individual with outstanding talent – who could be working currently at a number of levels including, Sous Chef, Carvery Chef or Junior Sous Chef.
The Junior Sous Chef will support the kitchen team in all matters relating to food preparation, taking an active role in promoting new ideas and improving department standards as well as supporting the Sous chef for the Kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence.
The Person:
Driven by the creation of beautiful food and ideally with experience of sizable and multiple events
Ambitious and driven, committed and hard-working. An approachable and mature manager with excellent communication skills
To further your own knowledge of management methods and principles to ensure future development and further upgrading in management standards for the profession as a whole
An exceptional planner, organised and disciplined with a keen eye for detail
Financially astute and the ability to confidently compile, deliver and discuss menus with clients
