We are working alongside a well-established fibre broadband telecoms company, who have been operating for 20 years, now bringing FTTP to rural areas of East Anglia and the East of England.
Having recently secured additional significant investment into their business, they’re expanding their reach and are currently recruiting Junior Build Supervisors in the Colchester area.
The Junior Build Supervisor role is key in the Delivery Team supporting the Area Build Supervisor ensuring that Build Partners have met statutory guidelines and build specifications when placing equipment into the network and checking that the build has.
You will be eligible to join a Future Leaders Programme and as a Junior Surveyor, be given clearly defined career and training pathways.

What you’ll be doing:
• Auditing works in progress to make sure that they achieve Health & Safety and business standards
• Auditing completed works are to the right standard, capturing via internal systems
• Auditing Build Partners work teams competent, fully trained
• Auditing Build Partners As-Built documentation and invoicing against the actual site dimensions for both Overhead and Underground build activity
• Auditing Build Partners management and Physical Infrastructure Access making sure all requirements are being met
• Auditing Build Partners Projects for Hand Over to make sure that the Projects are ready and of the correct specification
• Auditing actual and retrospective costs for Departure of Estimate (DfE) are accurate
• Providing cover for other Supervisors as required
• Undertake measurements of in-progress work sites
What we’re looking for:
• Clean UK Driving License
• NRSWA/PIA accreditation (desirable)
• Understanding of fibre network installations
