We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, driven and ambitious manufacturing maintenance engineer to work for a niche sports manufacturing business as the Number 2 in their UK factory.
Part of a larger group, my client is a supplier of specialist sports equipment throughout the World who are offering a rewarding career within the industry.
The Maintenance Engineer will deputise for the Factory Manager and will lead a small team in a busy manufacturing operation near to Grantham, exporting to some of the World’s most prestigious sporting events.
The successful engineer candidate will play a vital role within the Management Team driving the Company forward.
There is an experienced team on site and therefore strength of character and the ability and passion to use your engineering background and leadership skills is key.
The successful Maintenance Engineer candidate will be responsible for the planning of production with the Factory Manager, managing a team of operatives, overseeing quality assurance and the proactive and reactive maintenance of various machinery.
Does this sound like you?
·An experienced multi-skilled engineer
·Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
·Experience of pumps and valves, motors, pneumatics, electrical sensors and PLC
·Hydraulics – valves, hoses, seals, pressure testing
·Component repairs to both mechanical and electrical systems
·Great people and leadership skills
·Strong communication and IT skills.
You will be responsible for the Facility in the Factory Manager’s absence.
Due to the client’s location, you will need to be a car driver.
