A well-established M&E building services business operating over 14 years is looking for a Mechanical Surveyor due to ongoing expansion and a growing order book.
This Mechanical Surveyor is a great opportunity for a M&E, HVAC, Technical Manager or Quantity Surveyor to join a growing and reputable turnkey construction business trusted by major retailers to manage construction and refurbishment projects from beginning to end.
This company prides itself on great service that it gives to customers and therefore often gains repeat work. You’ll be working as a key part of the M&E Team covering a wide spectrum of project values up to £20 million - although their typical range for project values can be £250k to £5 million.
You will be involved in various duties within this role and that will include overseeing pricing of works, contract negotiation, dealing with cost and project variations alongside the financial aspects accordingly.
Mechanical Surveyor Responsibilities:
Project costings and pricing
Cost management and contractual control of live projects
Managing subcontract accounts, procurement and final accounts
Working with site teams to assess contract risk and manage mitigation plans
Assess construction plans and prepare quantity requirements
Do you have the following?
The candidate will be qualified to Degree/HND or HNC level
A full valid driving licence
Will need to be CSCS qualified
Strong and capable communicator at all levels
Variety of project and sector knowledge
Capable of delivering projects on time and to budget
On offer is a salary range of £50k - £55k plus company car or car allowance, pension, CPD opportunities and generous annual leave allowance
