I have a rare opportunity for an ambitious payroll professional to take on a newly created Payroll Administrator role in Rutland.
This Payroll Administrator role is at a well-known, prestigious and very well-established organisation.

Key aspects of the payroll administrator role include:
• Payroll input
• Processing starters and leavers
• Manually calculating and processing employees’ Occupational Sick Pay, SSP, SMP, SPP and holiday pay
• Administering and collating timesheets for various Departments within the School
• Administering Auto Enrolment as per the legislation
• Ensuring pension contributions to both active schemes (TP and USSGPP) are applied correctly and paid over on a timely basis
• Ensuring that Real Time Information reports are submitted in accordance with HMRC deadlines
We are looking for a pensions and payroll professional with a minimum 3 years’ experience of running a large payroll, in-depth payroll knowledge at a supervisory level, pension knowledge including Auto Enrolment, Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution and Salary Sacrifice.
Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel and strong numeracy and analytical skills are of course a must.
CIPP qualification and previous experience of the Teacher’s Pension Scheme would be desirable but not essential.
Monday to Friday with 30 days holiday + public holidays.
