We are working alongside a well-established full fibre broadband company, who have been operating for 20 years, bringing next-level broadband to rural areas.
They’re now looking for a Power BI Analyst / Data Analyst / Business Analyst to help them develop their Business Intelligence capability.
You will be using data to unearth valuable insights that drive strategic decision making, improve efficiency and maximise productivity.
This Data Analyst role is home-based and sits within the Business Intelligence Team.
As well as being responsible for a number of business-as-usual, reporting and data management activities, you will also be heavily involved in the full lifecycle of new BI projects, from initial requirements gathering, through development and user acceptance testing.

What you’ll be doing:
•Develop Power BI reports and dashboards as required by the business
•Produce ad-hoc reports and data analysis as required by the business
•Triage new work requests and help manage the lifecycle of those requests
•Stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering
•Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies
•Responsible for ensuring all work is accurate, relevant and communicated appropriately
•Identify and develop opportunities for more effective data usage in the business
What we’re looking for:
•Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
•Experience in requirements gathering and requirements analysis
•Solid understanding of and experience in Power BI or similar
•Good understanding of data visualisation concepts and techniques
•Proficient in Structured Query Language (SQL)
•Knowledge of SQL Server, MySQL or other database systems
