We are working on behalf of a thriving business who are looking for Schedulers / Scheduling Assistants to be based in their smart Nottingham head office.

Schedulers will deal directly with my client’s engineers and customers either by telephone, electronically or via a customer portal and to provide a ‘best in class’ service.

Working for rapidly expanding business, Schedulers / Scheduling Assistants manage the handling of customer requests and process information.

If you are an experienced scheduler / scheduling assistant or work within customer service and administration and want to get into a scheduling role, then this could be the job for you!

Main Duties include:

•Checking new incoming works to be scheduled, contacting customers and assigning engineers

•Answer incoming calls and queries from clients

•Ensuring all engineers have a full calendar for the following day and beyond

•Liaise with engineers for ordering materials and assist in any issues or queries

•Ensuring follow on works are scheduled in a timely manner

•Filing and processing paperwork received from engineers and subcontractors

•Raising purchase orders to suppliers and subcontractors.

What we’re looking for:

•Experience in customer service or scheduling

•Excellent listening skills and negotiations skills

•Excellent communication skills, including a clear, confident speaking voice

•Highly organized and able to prioritize a busy workload

•Accuracy at record keeping. numeric, oral and written language applications

•IT skills essential (Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word)
