About the Opportunity:

Following significant investment, new machinery, and restructuring, our client is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking FMCG business.

They’re seeking a Site Services Manager who is proactive, detail-oriented, and a true Continuous Improvement Champion.

This Site Services Manager is a newly created role where you will lead and supervise the Site Services Team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of site services while working closely with the Engineering Team.

About the Role:

The Site Services and Compliance Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining the efficiency of a 24/7 food manufacturing facility by ensuring that all site services and ancillary equipment are fully functional.

You will achieve this through robust preventative maintenance, planned maintenance, and condition monitoring systems.

A key focus will be on statutory compliance, ensuring all legal requirements are met while driving improvements through effective continuous improvement methods to enhance site efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

•Lead and motivate a team of engineers to deliver exceptional performance.

•Ensure all site services and ancillary equipment are operational to meet manufacturing needs.

•Manage statutory compliance and maintain all necessary documentation.

•Develop and implement robust maintenance and process control systems.

•Collaborate effectively with internal departments and external contractors.

•Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance site efficiency.

•Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively.

What We're Looking For:

•Proven ability to lead and motivate engineering teams.

•Flexibility and adaptability to implement and manage changes.

•Strong commercial and business awareness.

•Extensive experience in site services management, ideally within FMCG manufacturing.

•Experience managing budgets and delivering cost-effective solutions.

•Familiarity with food processing and packaging equipment is desirable, although training can be provided for the right candidate.
