Are you a results-oriented agriculture engineer looking to step up into a Foreman’s role?

The ideal Working Foreman candidate will have experience in a similar role or be a fully qualified Service Engineer looking to take that next step on the career ladder.

Once trained and proficient in role, the salary will increase to a minimum of £40,000 with the opportunity to earn overtime “back on the tools” when the opportunity arises.

The Working Foreman will work with our client’s Stamford team, a dynamic workshop collective of skilled agriculture engineers.

Day in and day out, this team dedicates itself to the service of our client’s customers.

As a Working Agricultural Foreman, you’ll be responsible for organising a team of skilled engineers working on agricultural machinery.

A priority will be to galvanise the engineering team to ensure they deliver against key targets, namely workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The Working Foreman should be self-motivated, reliable, with excellent interpersonal skills, able to demonstrate a successful track record of winning the respect of both your colleagues, manufacturers and customers.

An agricultural background is helpful and an ability to learn fast, think quickly and thrive under pressure is essential.

What you’ll be doing:

•Assisting with the day to day efficient running of the workshop and the mentoring of Service Engineers and Apprentices

•Offer technical support and guidance to staff and customers,

•Conduct regular toolbox talks to ensure health and safety compliance

•Review completed jobs to ensure warranty timelines are adhered to

Regular opportunity to work overtime, expected OTE in excess of £45k per annum. Overtime:

•39hrs – 48hrs time and a half

•Double time over 49 hours
