Programming / Control Systems Engineer -South Yorkshire
South Yorkshire – Competitive salary £45k basic with OTE up to £90k
RecruitME are working in partnership with an incredible global business who are recruiting in the South Yorkshire for exceptional Programming / Control Systems Engineers.
This position will be primarily working in customers’ manufacturing facilities worldwide and therefore it will provide the opportunity for extensive travel overseas.

This role would suit a Field Service Engineer who is happy to travel extensively and has experience with PLC programming.
You will be responsible for the start up and programming of new state of the art manufacturing equipment, providing training for operations and maintenance personnel and supervising installations.
The successful candidate will program software concepts and PLC code using Siemens Step 7 and Siemens TIA Portal, work with emulation engineers to develop means to test PLC code and develop interface requirements for WCS systems and HMIs and SCADA.
What we’re looking for:
- PLC, HMI and Servo Programming
- PLC programming experience such as Allen Bradley, Siemens S7, or similar
- City & Guilds / HND or equivalent in an electrical engineering discipline
- Alternative engineering qualification combined with extensive experience will be considered in lieu of HNC/HND
- Minimum 2 years of supporting PLC controlled automation applications in a service role. Robotic/Automation experience is a plus but not required
