We are working exclusively with a well established international business based near Grantham who are looking for an additional purchasing professional to join their finance team, in an easily commutable location.

This is a rare opportunity for a Purchasing Assistant / Administrator / Officer to work for an extremely successful and expanding company with ambitious plans, offering you the chance to develop and be part of a tight knit team.

Set in a fantastic location with smart offices, the Purchasing Assistant will have the opportunity to get involved in many aspects of the business and join in their success.

 Key aspects of this purchasing role include: 

  • Request quotes from suppliers
  • Review material requirements and ensure purchase orders are placed
  • Matching paperwork once goods have been received
  • Input goods receive stock into the system
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding price of material
  • Liaise with suppliers for credits or replacement parts
  • Management of returned goods to ensure appropriate credits are received
