Retrofit Programme Operations Lead
A Retrofit Programme Operations Lead is a senior operational role responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery and coordination of a retrofit programme—typically focused on improving the energy efficiency and sustainability of existing housing or building stock. This role ensures that the programme runs smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant standards and funding requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight
Lead the operational planning and execution of retrofit projects across multiple sites.
Coordinate logistics, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery.
Team and Contractor Management
Manage internal delivery teams and external contractors or delivery partners.
Ensure all parties are aligned with programme goals, timelines, and quality standards.
Process and Performance Management
Develop and implement operational processes and workflows.
Monitor KPIs such as delivery rates, cost efficiency, and resident satisfaction.
Compliance and Standards
Ensure all works comply with PAS 2035, health and safety regulations, and funding requirements (e.g. SHDF, ECO4).
Support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Stakeholder Coordination
Liaise with Programme Leads, Retrofit Coordinators, local authorities, and residents.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership and funding bodies.
Risk and Issue Management
Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Resolve delivery issues quickly to maintain programme momentum.
