The Area Sales Manager / Business Development Lead shall be targeting corporate businesses specifically within the wider Midlands area.
Working to meet and exceed monthly sales targets, you will enjoy an autonomous role, managing your own diary and conducting prospecting and canvassing activities.
Enjoying a pretty free reign, your territory is entirely your own, so no potential new prospect is off bounds! Once customers are signed up, you hand them over in full to a dedicated account management team, so it’s then on to hunting down the next one!
The Area Sales Manager / Business Development Lead will also be fully supported by an experienced outbound sales team who will work in tandem with you.
Key to this role is to support and drive the growth across their portfolio of products, sourcing, building and maintaining strong strategic relationships across their sector.
We’re looking for someone who is sales driven, entrepreneurial and dynamic with good negotiating / sales skills. Though field sales B2B experience is preferred, we will consider a strong proven office-based B2B sales background.
With a natural flair for sales generation and account management, you will be a self-starter with the ability to own responsibility and deliver results; you be willing to do what is necessary to succeed.
Working closely with the Directors and the Sales Department, we’re looking for someone with a proven track record of driving growth and profitability, are numerate and also have a creative side, can communicate well, and enjoy generating sales.
Longer term there will be an opportunity to take a board level role as the company groes.
