Due to continued expansion, an opportunity exists for a graduate level Applications Engineer – Aerospace to join my client’s global aerospace division in Nottingham.

The Applications Engineer will join a fast growing market leader with offices all over the World.

We are looking for a talented and charismatic application engineer who will be passionate about problem solving for other engineers using our client’s software. You must be a quick learner with proven analytical and communication skills.

The Application Engineer – Aerospace will be the primary technical resource for the global strategic account management team.

You will drive and manage the technology evaluation and implementation stage of the project delivery and identify and provide solutions for all technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the process.

The Application Engineer – Aerospace role demands technical knowledge, commercial understanding, great interpersonal skills and a passion for communicating solutions to complex engineering problems.

Skills & Experience Required

  • BA/BS/MSc in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Technical Field, or equivalent successful experience in a similar industry
  • Proficient in CAD/FE
  • Good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an understanding of customer needs.
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • First class attention to detail
  • Customer Service or Sales Support experience
  • Proven Project Management skills

Please note, international travel is a feature of this role.
