£25,000 – £35, 000 DOE with a highly rewarded cumulative and uncapped commission scheme + company car
We’re looking for 2 Business Development Managers for a well-established and respected family run rental business operating across the UK, one responsible for the Peterborough and one for the Rotherham area.
Our client is a steadily growing business and as such are seeking a qualified and experienced sales professional as part of their continued growth.
The role can be home or office base as you will be managing your own diary.
As the Business Development Manager you will be part of a team that is responsible for growing commercial vehicle business in line with their business strategy from their existing customer portfolio and through new customer acquisition.
You will report to the UK Sales Manager and work alongside Branch Managers to ensure together you provide customers with the high-quality service they have come to expect from our client.
The BDM will deliver targeted sales levels by converting new profitable business prospects and developing these relationships to secure future opportunities.
You will also maintain and develop existing business to maximise retention and profitability and support the local branch teams to provide a high-quality customer service.
What we’re looking for:
- Individuals with a strong sales background and relevant field sales experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- An ability to build strong relationships and negotiate effectively
- To be competent working through a complete sales process from prospecting through to closing
Candidates should ideally have an understanding of Vehicle Hire, Leasing and Rental, though full training will be given if you have limited experience.
