Are you looking for a new engineering management position or and engineering professional looking to step up into a more senior role?
The Engineering Manager will be responsible for the day to day management of a team of multi-skilled professionals and contractors over several sites, responsible for driving a continuous improvement culture.
The Team is responsible for planned scheduling and overseeing the adherence and timely completion of work carried out whilst increasing the site operational effectiveness.
We are looking for a forward thinking Engineering Manager who can improve on project delivery, mean time between failure and downtime reduction, whilst managing and implementing improvement plans.
The Engineering Manager will establish policies and procedures whilst also mentoring and leading their department, whilst implementing continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principals and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience of electrical systems / plant automation controls and sequencing
- Project Management knowledge
- Leadership and team development skills
- Experience of FMEA, FTA, SMED, & Implementation of autonomous maintenance programs
- Experienced in fast-moving continuous or processing environment with heavy industrial equipment and automation
- Problem solving skills and experience in implementing and maintaining of 5 ‘S’ HNC
- Electrical or Mechanical Qualifications
