They are now looking for an experienced quality improvement professional due this increasing demand.
Reporting to the Operations Director, the Quality Improvement Manager — Aerospace will maintain and develop the business accreditations including AS9100, NADCAP and SC21.
You will be responsible for installing data collection process for monitoring Right First Time & Scrap and use the related data to drive and prioritise improvement actions to improve RFT and reduce scrap.
We are looking for a quality improvement professional to be the “Champion & Promoter” of 8D CAR (Ford TOPS FORMAT) and in collaboration with the CI Manager, drive 5S /6S activity and improvements.
The Quality Improvement Manager will ensure that the Quality Team have appropriate delegation of responsibility and workload and that objectives are periodically reviewed.
What we’re looking for:
- Quality System exposure to AS9100, NADCAP, SC21, BS EN 14001
- Outstanding problem solving skills (8DCAR, RCA, POKE-YOKE etc)
- Highly IT literate and an excellent data manipulator in Excel
- Comprehensive understanding of Engineering Drawings
- Metrology expert and preferably NDT / X-Ray proficient
- Lean Manufacturing Awareness
