Accounts Senior

​As an Accounts Senior you will undertake a varied role in which the workload will include a mixture of year-end and management accounting as well as tax compliance work for a range of SME businesses across the UK.

There will be scope for you to work towards having the responsibility for your own portfolio of interesting clients which will primarily consist of limited companies but will also include some private individuals and partnerships from an array of industry sectors.

The successful Accounts Senior candidate will have excellent experience of working in a varied general practice position including Accounts preparation and Tax compliance. Candidates who are ACA / ACCA Qualified those at the final stages of their studies will both be considered

Role Responsibilities:

• Preparation of limited company statutory accounts and corporation tax computations and returns

• Assistance with business advisory work

• Reporting to partners – you will be involved with preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and SMEs

• Self-assessment tax return preparation

• Undertaking basic tax research under supervision

• Assistance with tax planning and advisory work

What we’re looking for:

• ACA / ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified (Qualified by Experience individuals will be considered)

• Experience of working in practice is essential
