Fire Stopper
Fire stoppers are systems designed to prevent the spread of fire and smoke through openings in walls, floors, and ceilings. They are a form of passive fire protection that seals around openings and between joints in fire-resistance-rated wall or floor assemblies. Properly installed fire stoppers act as a firebreak, limiting flames, deadly gases, and high temperatures from penetrating different compartments of a building.
