We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Banqueting Manager to join the team at a reputable hotel set in stunning grounds in a beautiful rural location.
This role is instrumental in ensuring that all Banqueting operations run successfully and in line with all guest requirements. A hands on position where you are expected to not only manage the team but also work alongside them, leading by example and demonstrating luxury standards.
About The Hotel
Our client’s hotel is set in stunning location on the beautiful shores of Rutland Waters. It has a strong family feel and aims to provide staff with flexible shifts patterns, such as 4 on and 3 days off, to ensure a welcome work life balance.
As the hospitality, conference and wedding sectors bounce back, they have full order books and are therefore looking to grow their teams to meet exceptional demand.
Our successful Conference and Banqueting Manager will have the following duties and responsibilities……..
Ensuring Function room set ups are as per function sheet and that our standards are maintained
Attend morning meetings to determine function requirements daily
Anticipate function needs, respond promptly and create solutions to issues that may arise
On going training and development of banqueting team
To assist in creating an environment which promotes positive staff morale and encourages employees to have a pride in the area and their skills ensuring maximum efficiency
Evaluate Industry trends and ensure conference needs are redeveloped to satisfy new customer demands.
The Ideal Candidate
Our successful Conference and Banqueting Manager will have…….
Strong C&B or F&B service background from within the hotel or venue sector
Outstanding C&B and F&B knowledge
Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
Excellent team leadership skills
Energy, drive and stamina
