My client supports UK military air capability by playing a key part in the seamless progression of pilots through flying training.
In a partnering programme with the Ministry of Defence, my client supplies and maintains three fleets of aircraft within the UK Military Flying Training System (UKMFTS). Through technical advancement and commercial innovation, they deliver aircraft to match the training needs of the next generation on the frontline.
They have a rare opportunity for a Continuing Airworthiness Support Engineer to join them in a role that offers unrivalled professional development and benefits.
The prime focus of this role is to ensure the continuing airworthiness management of their aircraft including the coordination of all maintenance activities, maintenance program development, and forecasts and planning in accordance with EASA Part M, CAME with military annex, AMPs, and commercial best practice.
The Continuing Airworthiness Support Engineer will support ongoing maintenance, control, and configuration management of all documentation and records. They will also assist with non-safety engineering tasks, configuration and testing of production systems, and assisting project support teams.

What We’re Looking For
Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation standards and safe operating practices
Appropriate recent experience in the Continuing Airworthiness management environment
Five years relevant work experience of which at least the last two years should be from the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position
Qualified to degree level in an aeronautical discipline, EASA Part 66 AMEL or an appropriate aircraft maintenance technician qualification
Experience working with Regulatory bodies - Civil, MAA or both
Experience of Aircraft Maintenance Programmes - Development / Management.
Experience of Maintenance Controls systems (RUSADA or similar).
Experience of Reliability and defect monitoring systems.
Experience of Safety Management Systems, including but not limited to; mandatory and voluntary
Reporting, safety data analysis, and safety investigation
It would also be ideal (desirable) if you have knowledge of recognised Aircraft Maintenance Programme Training, training on a relevant sample of AFS aircraft Types, Occurrence Review Group training, SMS training, MRP Part 145/M training
There is also a series of essential technical competencies which, as a continuing airworthiness support engineer, you’ll be familiar with.
