Continuing Airworthiness Support Engineer

RAF Cranwell - £43, 000 to £47,000 per year Full -time, Permanent, 28 days holiday plus bank holidays, company pension, life assurance, Perk Box.

They have a rare opportunity for a Continuing Airworthiness Support Engineer to join them in a role that offers unrivalled professional development and benefits.

The prime focus of this role is to ensure the continuing airworthiness management of their aircraft including the coordination of all maintenance activities, maintenance program development, and forecasts and planning in accordance with EASA Part M, CAME with military annex, AMPs, and commercial best practice.

The Continuing Airworthiness Support Engineer will support ongoing maintenance, control, and configuration management of all documentation and records and assist with non-safety engineering tasks, configuration and testing of production systems, and assisting project support teams.

What We’re Looking For

•Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation standards and safe operating practices

•Appropriate recent experience in the Continuing Airworthiness environment

•Five years relevant work experience of which at least the last two years should be in an appropriate position

•Qualified to degree level in an aeronautical discipline, EASA Part 66 AMEL

•Experience working with Regulatory bodies - Civil, MAA or both.

•Experience of Aircraft Maintenance Programmes - Development / Management.

•Experience of Maintenance Controls systems (RUSADA or similar).

•Experience of Reliability and defect monitoring systems.

•Recognised UK CAA/ EASA Part M/ Part CAMO training

•Recognised Human Factors training

It would also be ideal (desirable) if the Continuing Airworthiness Support Engineer has knowledge of recognised Aircraft Maintenance Programme Training, training on a relevant sample of AFS aircraft Types, Occurrence Review Group training, SMS training, MRP Part 145/M training

There is also a series of essential technical competencies which, as a continuing airworthiness support engineer, you’ll be familiar with.
