I have a FTTH Field Engineering Supervisor opportunity in a business investing in a world class, full-fibre broadband network across the East of England and East Midlands.
The FTTH Fibre Engineering Supervisor will oversee field-based engineers across part of their Norfolk area operations.
Reporting into a Field Operations Manager, the Fibre Engineering Supervisor will take responsibility for managing and developing a team of field engineers, as well as ensuring successful customer installs of my client’s rapidly growing fibre network infrastructure.

They are now rapidly expanding their roll out across Essex, East Anglia and Cambridgeshire!

What you’ll be doing
Ensure that field engineering cover is accurately provided by managing staff and on-call rotas
Observe FTTP repair works by engineers.
Quality assess works carried out on fibre networks
Assist the fibre engineers and sign off on surveys of new locations and repairs to existing networks
Work closely with managerial staff within the Operations department to identify patterns and issues as well as working to improve the day-to-day running and efficiency of the engineering team
Does this sound like you?
We’re looking for a field operation professional, ideally with at least 2 years’ experience in field-based operational teams and leading field engineers.
Knowledge of fibre network technologies and their deployment
SA001, SA002 qualified
PIA S7/S8
IPAF
Ability to effectively community complex issues to high level non-technical stakeholders in the business
Good interpersonal skills
