We are currently recruiting for a Sports Grounds Person for a prestigious client set in extensive and stunning grounds in a stunning rural location.

The successful Grounds Person candidate will need strong knowledge of grounds machinery and sports pitch maintenance as you will be contributing to the maintenance of extensive sports facilities spread across 56 acres.

Your responsibilities will include the meticulous maintenance of sports pitches, operation of mowers and machinery, fertilization, weed control, and upkeep of synthetic surfaces.

You should have experience of ground maintenance, from mowing and aeration to setting out and marking pitches.

Experience in using a range of machinery and equipment is crucial, and you'll demonstrate the ability to work seamlessly as part of a team. Possessing PA1, PA2, and PA6 spraying certificates is desirable, along with an NVQ Level 2 Sports Turf qualification or similar.

If you’re a grounds person with relevant experience in a similar role, work well in a team and have reasonable plant knowledge along with good basic horticultural techniques we would be delighted to hear from you.
