An Infrastructure Solutions expert is highly sought by this UK organisation that are in the process of a significant IT transformation programme affecting every part of the business.
This is a newly created role for an experienced technical lead who will be pivotal in huge transformational change in terms of my client’s IT solutions.
They are a highly successful UK wide organisation going through a period of sustained growth and change who are transforming their IT landscape to support this growth and new ways of working.
As the Infrastructure Solutions Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for specification and the delivering of IT projects for the improvement of the corporate IT Infrastructure (Desktop, physical & virtual server estate, storage, Local Area/Wide Area network and any other associated IT infrastructure).
This is a really exciting time to join my client’s IT Function as they embark on many high-profile IT transformation projects to increase the reliability and resilience of systems whilst focusing on the improvement of the end user experience.
We are looking for Infrastructure Solutions Manager who is able to analyse difficult technical challenges to identify and communicate solutions.
Does this sound like you?
Direct experience of 3rd line infrastructure and solution design, end user computing operations and storage, server, virtualisation, network and application architectures
Knowledge of networking technologies, telephony and video services
Relevant Microsoft, Citrix and Cisco products and techniques
Storage technologies including SAN and public cloud services
Familiarity of ITIL and Project Management concepts
Broad and deep technical knowledge and experience across IT networking and infrastructure
Experience writing technical specifications and statements of work
Experience developing, maintaining and improving IT infrastructure architecture in similar organisations
