Grantham - £26k to £31k depending on experience – permanent position
We are on the hunt for a Maintenance Electrician to join our client’s Property Repairs Team to conduct Electrical Inspections and remedial maintenance work to domestic dwellings and commercial premises.
You will be responsible for ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum through planned preventative maintenance and when required responding to breakdowns.
The Maintenance Electrician will guarantee that health, safety, and welfare standards are maintained in accordance with Risk Assessments and Safe Working Procedures.
The successful Maintenance Electrician will be a qualified Electrician as well as experience with domestic and commercial installations, emergency lighting, testing and ideally three-phase electrics. Other tasks include wire testing and remedial works, LED lighting and boiler control wiring.
Salary uplifts are available for individuals who see themselves as more than a Maintenance Electrician and are able to offer additional skills such as decoration, plastering, bricklaying and other skilled trades.
What we’re looking for:
Trained to NICEIC 18th edition
City and Guilds 2391 Electrical Qualification
City and Guilds 2394 & 2395 Electrical qualification
Full driving licence
Absestos training and other trade qualifications are desirable but not essential
What to expect:
Carry out periodic inspections to properties and record results
Fault finding and carrying out repairs
Carry out electrical repairs and maintenance work to domestic and commercial properties
Complete all electrical installation documentation in accordance with NICEIC requirements
Participate in an out of hours standby rota (usually 1-in-6 with call out uplift)
