About the Client: a growing not for profit professional membership organisation

My client, a not for profit professional membership organisation, is currently looking for a Membership Account Manager.

The purpose of this newly created role is to support the growing membership, providing a positive customer experience and building relationships.

As the Membership Account Manager, you’ll engage with internal and external stakeholders to support the retention, acquisition and growth objectives of the Membership Team by servicing and growing a portfolio of member accounts.

What you’ll be doing

The Membership Account Manager will act as the main account manager and point of contact for the members, capturing and feeding their priorities into the development of activities to increase member value.

Maintain a high quality and responsive membership service, ensuring that members understand membership benefits and can access opportunities for engagement.

The Membership Account Manager will organise and facilitate a monthly webinar with members and communicate monthly newsletter on member updates, blogs and upcoming events.

Work on membership retention and the creation of the annual membership strategy.

Work across the organisation to ensure effective on-boarding and early engagement of new members.

Document regular membership reports and statistics, to ensure flow both ways of information and impact stories.

Attend events and other activities, as required, to network with members.

What we’re looking for

•The Membership Account Manager should have experience of successful account management, nurturing productive relationships to deliver clearly agreed engagement targets

•Someone who shows a strong interest in professional membership bodies and business, and the value of facilitating connection and dialogue between business sectors

•Capable of interacting with members and articulating the membership value proposition

•You will be enthusiastic, inclusive, solutions-focused and people oriented

My client is looking for someone with proven customer management skills, ideally within the trade association or membership sector.

Ideally you will have customer engagement experience.

They would also consider a recent business graduate to be developed into this role.
