Migration Manager
Location: Cardiff (Hybrid) | Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 DOE
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Migration Manager to oversee the delivery of supplier migrations into Market Wide Half-Hourly Settlement services. This role is central to ensuring projects run smoothly, clients are well-supported, and industry standards are consistently met.
As Migration Manager, you will lead end-to-end migration projects, coordinate cross-functional resources, and act as the main point of contact for suppliers, stakeholders, and industry forums. You will also play a key role in shaping processes, driving continuous improvement, and identifying opportunities for business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Client Satisfaction
Build and maintain excellent client relationships, ensuring expectations are met and escalations are resolved effectively.
Resource Planning
Develop and maintain resourcing models to ensure every stage of the migration process is properly staffed and supported.
Performance Management
Monitor and manage contractual and industry SLAs, identifying and implementing improvements to strengthen delivery standards.
Monitoring and Reporting
Design and maintain reporting systems to track migration progress, highlight key metrics, and share accurate updates with stakeholders.
Policy and Compliance
Ensure all migration activity complies with company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
Business Growth
Identify and develop opportunities to expand services with existing clients and attract new business through successful delivery.
Progress Tracking
Maintain accurate records and ensure systems, databases, and tools are kept up to date to keep projects on schedule.
Stakeholder Communication
Lead communication strategies with clients, industry forums, and regulators, providing insights and updates on migration activity.
Process Improvement
Document and refine processes, promote feedback, and implement improvements to boost efficiency and service delivery.
What We’re Looking For
Proven management experience, ideally with energy, utilities, or smart metering knowledge.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing resources and performance.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Commercial awareness with the ability to identify new opportunities.
