Are you an experienced Paralegal or Legal Executive with a background in conveyancing, land development, new homes or infrastructure-related property work?
We are recruiting for an opportunity within a respected regional law firm’s Land Development & New Homes team in Newark. This role would suit someone who enjoys high-quality fee-earning work, works well to deadlines, and takes pride in delivering excellent client care.
You will support clients on a range of land development and new homes matters, working closely with senior fee earners while helping to drive service delivery, department growth and cross-referrals across the wider business.
Key responsibilities
Manage fee-earning work accurately and in line with quality and risk procedures
Provide an ongoing high standard of service to existing clients
Support Partners and Fee Earners with business development activity
Assist in developing the Land Development & New Homes department
Help generate fee income in line with agreed targets
Maintain accurate time recording and support billing procedures
Keep up to date with relevant law, practice and legal developments
Support financial control, including monies on account and cash flow awareness
What they are looking for
Experienced Paralegal or Legal Executive
Good understanding of conveyancing procedures, including part exchanges
Strong knowledge of land law, section agreements and infrastructure transactions
Understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules and Money Laundering Regulations
Good IT skills including Word, Excel and case management systems
Strong communication, organisation and prioritisation skills
Professional, positive and process-driven approach
