I have a rare opportunity for an ambitious payroll professional to take on a newly created Payroll Accountant role in Rutland.

Key aspects of the payroll and pensions role include:

  • Payroll operations

  • Budgetary management

  • Pension scheme management

  • Management of property income

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee payroll operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

  • Manage payroll budgets effectively to optimize financial resources.

  • Handle all aspects of pension scheme management, including Auto Enrolment and Defined Benefit.

  • Manage property income streams to maximize returns.

  • Lead and inspire a team of payroll and pensions professionals to achieve departmental goals.

 We are looking for a pensions and payroll professional with in-depth payroll knowledge at a supervisory level, pension knowledge including Auto Enrolment, Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution and Salary Sacrifice.

 Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel and strong numeracy and analytical skills are of course a must.

 The Payroll and Pensions Accountant should Ideally you should have a CIPP qualification and previous experience of iTrent or other integrated HR/Payroll systems.
