​Quantity Surveyor / Installation Manager

Swindon - £40k- £50K

We are working in exclusive partnership with a nationwide company. Our client is a forward-thinking and nationally renowned Security and Communications Company, that specialises in the design, installation, service and maintenance of integrated security systems and manufacturing specialist equipment.

Due to the company’s continued success and growth, they are looking to add a Quantity Surveyor and Installation Manager to their project team in the South of England. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career and become a valued member of their team.

Are you a positive, self-motivated proactive individual, who can work under pressure in rapidly changing circumstances, with good communication skills and the ability to develop successful working relationships with both colleagues and customers, then the role of a Quantity Surveyor and Installation Manager is for you?

Involved in all aspects of our client’s building projects, you will require excellent communication skills to liaise with key stakeholders and sub-contractors on a daily basis.

This will include undertaking risk management to help and facilitate the construction team to identify costs and manage risk to minimise the impact on the project.

Our client works across multiple sectors, delivering a comprehensive range of innovative solutions and significant experience in Quantity Surveying, Installations and estimating for projects within the civil engineering sector.

The Quantity Surveyor and Installation Manager will resolve potential contractual issues on site and keep accurate and relevant records. Show an in-depth knowledge of Bill of Quantities, Schedules of Rates and Activity Schedules

We are looking for someone who is driven and motivated to drive change and use their experience and skills to implement lean methodologies and be involved at the forefront of projects across the south of the UK.

Do you have the following?

·        Qualified to Degree/HND or HNC in Quantity Surveying or a similar commercial degree in construction

·        Excellent knowledge and understanding of construction

·        A full valid driving licence

·        Will need to be CSCS qualified

·        Ideally possess an accounting qualification
