Our client, a dynamic, family-run business with over 1,200 employees nationwide, is hiring a Quantity Surveyor – Retrofit & Decarbonisation to manage the commercial aspects of retrofit and energy efficiency projects. With turnover approaching £250m and ambitious plans to double to £500m, this is a business where you’ll be valued, supported, and rewarded.
As a Quantity Surveyor – Retrofit & Decarbonisation, you will:
Lead cost planning, procurement, valuations, and final accounts.
Ensure compliance with PAS 2035, ECO4, SHDF and other retrofit funding requirements.
Control budgets, monitor performance, and deliver commercial reporting.
Work closely with project managers, local authorities, and housing providers to ensure best practice delivery.
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor (retrofit, decarbonisation, or energy efficiency preferred).
Knowledge of PAS 2035 / ECO4 / SHDF standards.
Strong commercial awareness with JCT/NEC contract knowledge.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills.
